Welcome to my Fishing Blog. I created this to share my experiences and knowledge of the sport. I’ve been all over the country chasing fish and spent a summer working in a fly shop in Florida. I plan to tell stories of my time on the water and share my experiences of fishing. I also want to give recommendations and reviews on new gear that I get my hands on. I look forward to sharing everything with you!
I started fishing at a young age with my father, who introduced me to the sport and still guides me through it to this day. I learned to both spin and fly fish while I was a child. However, as I’ve gotten older, I have come to personally love fly fishing. Fly fishing will take you to the most incredible places and introduce you to some of the best people you’ll ever meet. With that being said, by no means am I an expert. Do not take my advice as fishing law.
Bucket List Fishing Locations:
– Alaska: Salmon and Trout
– Belize: Permit and Bonefish
– Patagonia: Trophy Trout
– Japan: Yellowfin Tuna
These are just a handful of places that I would love to visit and have the oppurtunity to fish. Each location has unique challenges that you will have to face, but they all have an amazing reward. I chose several of these locations as they are fantastic areas to target fish that I have not been able to. To me, being able to catch as many different fish as possible is more important than catching the biggest one.
