Overlanding and Camping Truck Build:

I plan on buying a Toyota Tacoma or 4Runner in the next few years and adding some modifications to it to use while camping in the back country. I would love to get a rooftop tent. This is a vital piece of equipment for longer fishing trips, as it allows you to move freely without the worry of setting up camp every night. I also would like a drawer system in the bed or trunk that allows for easy storage of all the camping and fishing gear. These additions would allow me to easily maneuver around unpopulated areas and access more remote fishing spots.

DIY Rooftop Rod Holder:

Because many fishing rods are difficult to travel with I would love to add a rooftop rod holder. These allow for easy access to your fishing rods without the need of having to assemble them multiple times a day. This is not a necessity, but rather a very convenient piece of gear to have. Many options on the market are very expensive, often costing over $1000 to buy; because of this, I would love to build my own. I’ve seen many people do this online, and it is not too difficult a project and is certainly less expensive.
